About Us
KyCOMPASS is made up of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals dedicated to supporting providers who care for pregnant and postpartum patients. By offering guidance on perinatal mental health and medication management, we help providers feel confident in their care.
KyCOMPASS
Mission: KyCOMPASS provides free psychiatric consultation and support for healthcare providers caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals in Kentucky.
Vision statement: Investing in perinatal providers to support families in Kentucky.
Perinatal Mental Health
At KyCOMPASS, we focus on supporting mental health during the perinatal period, from pregnancy through the first year postpartum, a critical stage that impacts birthing parents, partners, and families alike. Our services also extend to individuals of reproductive age (typically ages 15–49), ensuring that anyone who may become pregnant has access to timely, compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care. We provide guidance, trust, and connection across the care continuum, helping patients and providers thrive, rebuild, rest, and flourish while strengthening collaboration and empowerment across the entire perinatal care team.
